Ryan Gary Edmonds

(“Sevak Hari Singh”)

Ryan graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a double major in BA Anthropology as well as Psychology. He further studied a BPsych Hons through UNISA, while training as a Hypnotherapist (non-medical) through the SAIH. He is also a registered Life Coach through the AUNLP, Usui Reiki Master, Hospice Bereavement Counselor, Phobic Aid, and Certified CBT Suicide & Trauma Counselor.

“In 2011 I completed my 500hr ISHTA TTC under Marina Contardo (YTF, IYF). Several years later, I continued my Yogic training in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, under Pritam Hari Kaur Khalsa (KRI, 3HO SA)”

Ryan/Sevak has also qualified to internationally certify ISHTA Yoga Teachers at the 200hr level.  In 2016 he recorded his first meditation album, and published a book on South African Healing Remedies.

After having studied Analytical Psychology at Carl Gustav Jung Institute in Zürich, I immersed myself in The Science of Energy Healing (Aura Soma®) and the energy medicine of Life Alignment. I have a Diploma as a Life Counseling Practitioner, (Institute for Mental Sciences Switzerland), Dipl. BioEnergy Therapy and Meditation, (Centre for Medicine Armenia), Certified Inner Clearing Practitioner (Germany), Certified Reiki Practitioner, 1st degree in Usui System of Reiki, Certified and registered Aura Soma Practitioner Level 3, Body Spin, Vortex, and Body Alignment , Life Alignment.

Eugene Vogel

I come from an Aerobic background where for 18 years I taught classes, trained new teachers and presented Workshops and Master Classes. For over 3 years I also competed internationally in Aerobic Sport Championships. Yoga became the new chapter that I developed a yearning for.

I am qualified to teach Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yo Bikram after I graduated from this course. I am particularly fond of the dynamics of Vinyasa Flow yoga. It allows me the opportunity to be more creative and it provides the basics of Yoga Asana practice.

Janine Hayward

I teach gentle Yin Yoga, suitable for people who need gradual mobilization and tender care. I do my best to create a class atmosphere that is subtle, serene and sentient.

I studied Integral Vinyasa Hatha Yoga in 2002 (Ananda Sanga).  As a Eurythmy Teacher, I also teach children in creative ways.

A Bhakti Yogini at heart, I adore sharing my love for sacred music, and devotional singing, while creating sacred soundscapes for people. Through Access Bars and Matrix Re-Imprinting, I help people become friends with their emotions and clear limiting negative thought patterns.

In 2012 I did my Hatha Teachers Training at Sivananda Ashram London. I have crafted my own unique style Gentle Restorative Yoga, cultivating body awareness. I trained as a Pre and Post Natal Yoga Teacher with Anne and Martin Combrinck in Somerset West. Natural Motherhood is my passion, supporting mothers step into their own unique power…

Tanya Olivier

I am very passionate about sharing the ancient art and science of yoga with people of all ages and enjoy teaching Hatha Yoga with a flow Vinyasa style (intelligently placed steps), Restorative Yoga as well as Children’s Yoga. 

Introducing yoga to children at an early age will teach them healthy lifestyle habits, being present, awake and aware. Yoga is a perfect, gentle, non-competitive way to involve children in a healthy foundation of physical fitness, personal discovery, respect for self and others and the environment and focuses on improving the connection between breath, mind, and body.

I obtained my Yoga Teacher certification through Ananda Sanga in 2011 and my Children’s Yoga Certification through Yoga4Kids in 2013.

Margeaux Cross

(Curative Yoga ~ Hatha Yoga / Vinyasa Yoga). I teach a different style and sequence, according to the ruling planet for each day of the week. A sacred space is created to allow movement of energy within the body to realign, rejuvenate and set a rhythmic tone for the week to come. 

My qualifications include (Level 1) 200 hours Yoga Alliance Accredited Training by Jim Harrington: Applied Anatomy and Physiology of Yoga; Art and the technique of adjustments as well as the Philosophy of Yoga.

Fran Siebrits

Fran finds her connection in nature, and when she is not on the mat she can be found frolicking somewhere in the mountains.

After some time in Nature Conservation and a stint in Journalism and Online Marketing, she decided to do her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Certificate (Ananda Sanga Educational Institute) as well as her Pilates Mat Certificate (BASI). Shortly after she qualified in the Advanced Pilates Equipment Training (CME / Renee Watson). She further trained in Pre- and Post-Natal Yoga as well as the healing MYYO Technique. Her passion for yoga finally led her to India where she completed her Advanced Yoga Training at Yoga Vidya Gurukul. Fran’s interest in the subtle body and energy system led her to complete courses in the Dorn Method and Thai Yoga Massage. A strong interest in the body and conscious movement led to further train in Budokon (combining martial arts and yoga asana) and Aerology (aerial fabric fitness and mind conditioning).

Lesley-Ann Green

“I began teaching Tai Chi Chuan in 2008 and I feel that my learning deepens with each day I share this art. Tai Chi & Qi Gong have been my passion & way of life for almost 20 years, 8 of which were under the tutelage of Dr. Michael Lan. Dr. Lan trained under Grandmaster Lin Feng-Chao, who in turn was a student of Professor Cheng Man-Ching. Professor Cheng Man-Ching popularized Tai Chi Chuan in the West.”

Lesley-Ann has traveled to China & Taiwan to continue her studies. She won the overall Woman’s gold medal in Tuishou (Push Hands) in Taiwan in 2016. Lesley-Ann studied Traditional Chinese Medicine to further her understanding of ‘Chi’ or intrinsic energy. She holds a diploma in Advanced Acupuncture & continues to train & study to be able to share her knowledge.

Nia Thorpe

I am a qualified primary school teacher, yoga teacher, curator, author and professional organizer. I have worked in the education sector, private sector and NGO sector before starting out on my own!

Our aim is to inspire children to live mindfully through teaching them about the importance of self-appreciation, positivity, and resilience. I facilitate imaginative children’s workshops which involve healthy eating awareness, playful yoga, and creative exploration.

Mia Steyn

When I started Nia I was traumatised by several things that happened in my life. I was introverted and lived in fear. Nia’s music and movement changed it all. My nervous system has calmed down, and I am not merely surviving through fight or flight reactions, but am thriving. I feel strong and confident and have been sharing what I learn as a Nia teacher for the past couple of years. I am now a Nia brown belt, certified green belt and 5 stages teacher. I am Inspired in sharing & learning daily about the variety Nia has to offer to condition and restore us to optimal health in the mental, physical, emotional & spiritual realms of being. I am dedicated to awaken the dancer within everyone male & female and find balance and health through movement!

Tomi Miller

Tomi teaches a flowy vinyasa class choreographed to music on and off the mat.  Each class is intelligently sequenced with an apex pose, muscle group or theme in mind.  She is originally from LA, California where she studied Sport Science and began teaching. Her yoga journey began in the late 90’s with Iyengar and Bikram classes complimenting the high-intensity workouts that she loved.  Yoga eventually took precedence and in  2002, she completed her TT with Gustavo Ponce in Santiago, Chile where she lived for 12 years.  In 2003, she studied in India with Sharat and has continued to learn from others all around the world every chance she gets.

Michelle Norris

I have been ’embodying’ and sharing “The Nia Technique” for the past 8 years.

I believe in healing, training and experiencing the body through movement with a mind, body connection. I also teach Pilates, HIIT training, and Nia for Children, and am qualified in ‘Healing Hands’ deep body massage, Reflexologist and Meridian Therapy. My passion is movement.
