Skin tags, also called acrochordons are small, flesh-colored growths. They are usually benign, but they can be uncomfortable, irritating and even embarrassing! And, you probably have them if you’re diabetic or overweight – or both. They are commonly found on the neck, under the armpits and in other body folds.
The positive thing about skin tags is that they don’t require treatment. However, if you want to get rid of them, you can use this natural readily available remedy that helps get rid of them just as fast and easily.
I’m talking about apple cider vinegar. Today, I’ll show you how you can use apple cider vinegar to get rid of them.
How to use apple cider vinegar to get rid of skin tags
Firstly, consult your doctor just to confirm that your skin tags are harmless and not a serious condition. If they are harmless, then it’s time to grab some apple cider vinegar and cotton balls.
Secondly, gently wash the areas of your body where they are, using lukewarm water and a mild body soap. Then dry the skin thoroughly with a towel.
The third step is to dip cotton balls into the apple cider vinegar, then squeezing out the excess excessive amounts of apple cider vinegar from the cotton balls. What you want is the acidity in the apple cider vinegar to help remove those skin tags.
The fourth step is to put the apple cider vinegar-soaked cotton balls on the skin tags. You have to keep them in place for about 15 to 20 minutes (I must say though that the longer, the better).
Lastly, repeat the above steps every day. You have to repeat them several times a day until your skin tags darken, dry up and fall off naturally.
Important note: Avoid using apple cider vinegar on skin tags close to your eyes because they may burn your skin or harm your eyes.
