Four Foods For Beautiful Healthy Skin

With the beginning of spring, comes an abundance of energy. The air is alive, the trees and flowers start to bloom, and the best fresh fruits and vegetables are available everywhere.

Although spring flourishes with its beauty, sunshine and radiance, you can make this one your best ever! You can do this by eating the right foods that nourish your skin that you don’t feel the need to hide behind make-up.

I’m talking about foods that support UV protection and also provide your body with intense rehydration. These beauty foods won’t just promote healthy, youthful skin, but taste amazing, too. 

Four beauty foods

1. Apricots

Apricots are loaded with beta-carotene, which your body converts into vitamin A. Vitamin a is not only UV-protective but nourishes your skin, hair and nails. Apricots are also a great source of the beauty minerals copper and iron, and have potassium for hydration balance. As a digestive aid, They aid the digestive process by breaking down and absorbing food which is important in the beauty process. 

2. Celery

Celery helps cool, flush and detox your body of excess fluid and harmful toxins. It’s also packed with silicon, which supports skin elasticity, collagen production and hydration. Furthermore, it promotes healthy hair and hair growth!

3. Cucumbers

Cucumber also contains silicon like celery. Furthermore, it’s loaded with potassium, and is an anti-inflammatory kidney-cleansing food that helps prevent water retention. Cucumbers are the best sources on vitamin K, chlorophyll and vitamin C, cucumbers are a beauty food to be reckoned with.

4. Watermelons

Watermelons contain about 92% water and the very powerful antioxidant lycopene, which helps your body against UV damage. They are also a very great source of iron, which leads to healthy hair growth, glowing skin and beautiful pink nailbeds.
