Giving The Gift Of Health This Christmas

Christmas

Buying Christmas gifts for your family and friends can cause unnecessary stress, and also be time consuming and expensive! And, not getting their “wish list” right, can leave you feeling unappreciated.

So, if you don’t want your gift to be thrown in a useless things drawer, why not give the gift of health this Christmas? We all want to be even a little healthier therefore, they they’ll be sure to give your gift a try. Here are seven great ideas for giving the gift of health this Christmas:

1. Pedometer

This gift is great for friends and family who love gadgets. A simple pedometer measures the number of steps you take each day. All you have to do is wear it on your body and it collects information throughout the day, which you upload at the end of the day to analyse your data.

2. Yoga kit

A friend that’s into fitness but doesn’t seem to have the time could really use a yoga kit. As much as yoga focuses on improving your strength, flexibility and mind-body connection, it can also make you work up a sweat and get your heart rate going. PURCHASE YOGA & PILATES PROPS AT DISCOUNTED PRICES.

3. Active video games

Instead of buying your younger family members gifts they’ll never use, buy them video games. But, ensure the games force them to get up and move!

4. Tea

In China, people enjoy endless cups of steaming hot tea at home and even carry a thermos with them wherever they go. They believe that tea aids digestion and boosts brain power. In fact, monks have relied on the power of green tea to stay awake and focus during long hours of meditation. It’s no wonder tea drinking has become an indispensable part of their lifestyle. Science is even revealing more health benefits of tea. So, get your family hooked on healthy teas by getting them tea and sharing the benefits.

5. Recipe book

For those who love to cook, a recipe book is ideal. But don’t just get any old recipe book, introduce a new, healthy one into their lives.

6. Soda machine

Remember the good old days when everyone had a soda fountain in their kitchen? Well, it appears they’re back on the shelves. And for that friend who can’t go a day without at least a litre of Coke, this will be an excellent gift. Yes, it’s a little on the expensive side, but it’ll be worth it to see your friend’s health improve because she can make her own natural “soda” at home!

I agree with you on this list. It weren’t things I’d think of getting, so thank you.
