My whole life my sister has called me a dandelion… If you don’t know what that is, there are 3 types of Dandelions- The Yellow Flower, The Dispersing Seeds, and The Puff Ball.. I am the Puff Ball…
This, everyone is what she was referring to when she looked at me. When i was a little girl, i had short, snow white, fine hair, that stood up in every direction possible. As i got older, my hair grew a little, and much to my surprised got thicker too.. (not much). I never thought it would grow
Over the years, i really looked after my hair well, and its now long, and super healthy! So here are some of my tips on how i got my hair to grow!
- Go for a Trim
Its so important to trim your hair ever few months, to get rid of split ends, and just for your hair to look fresh!
- Use quality products
There are so many products on the shelves that strip the natural oils of your hair, leaving it dry and greasy. You don’t have to go spend a huge amount of money on the top products but rather go for middle of the range products. Remember that the more money you spend on a product, the less you will have to use it, so it will last longer.
- Start from the bottom
This is one trick that has saved my hair! and my life… When you jump out the shower, comb / brush your hair from the bottom, and work up the roots, if you start brushing from the roots, you will notice it gets knotted, and painful, which causes the hair to fall out.
I use an amazing product called ‘The Tangle Teezer, which you can purchase here!
There are many ways to treat your hair, a really good conditioner also works as a treatment, but every once in a while you should do a home treatment. I usually use Coconut Oil or Olive Oil.
- Heat Protection
You might know that heat is really damaging to the hair. If you are going to Blow-dry or Straighten your hair, try use a well known and trusted brand, or use a heat protection spray before hand. Try not use these electronics all the time.
