In the end, only three things matter: How much you loved, how gently you lived and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. – Buddha
To truly live, you must experience love. I’m talking about life changing, hardcore, stupid love in it’s purest form. Love that burns to the core of your soul. The love that makes you feel like an unstoppable force, it makes you stronger than you knew you were, it makes you fly straight up to the moon where you can see everything from a distance from a completely new perspective.
To live is to love and be loved, even if that same love has made you fall from the sky and broke you into pieces, you can look back and say: “I have loved and I have been loved, therefore I have lived.” If it’s not meant to be, you need to learn to let it go with your head held high and your pride intact, with grace and dignity, knowing that you have been to the moon and back and that it is possible to one day try and fly again.
