Any good dietician is likely to tell you: “You are what you eat.” Any good life coach will appreciate that the quality of the fuel you feed your body can have an important – perhaps even dramatic – bearing on the quality of your life … but it does not constitute who you are or who you will become. Instead, life coaches are more likely to pronounce: “You are what you think.”
I love sleep. We all do. Sleep is so vital for good health and a sharp mind.
But there are other things you can do to maximize a good night’s rest. The way you choose to begin your morning has a huge impact on how your mood, energy levels, and even events will be influenced throughout the day. Don’t believe me? Give it a shot.
Language is powerful. The words we use drive the deeds we do.
Your relationship with yourself, sets the tone for every other relationship you have.
If you think about it carefully you will, I am sure, appreciate that the process of thinking is really a process of asking and answering questions in your mind. Perhaps not everything you think is in the form of a question or answer. You may ‘think a statement’ like “That’s a really beautiful view” for instance, but that thought is really just the answer to a question “What do I like about that view?”
