Have you ever had the feeling that even though there’s nothing to be stressed about, you feel like you’re barely coping or not coping at all? It’s not a good feeling.
You probably had an awesome holiday. You rested, ate way too much but enjoyed the break. Now, you’re back to reality and trying to eat healthy but the pocket is not looking that great.
Stress is the enemy. And these days, no matter how much you try to relax, it has become a way of life. It could come from the constant chasing of deadlines you do for your job, always rushing to get the kids to school on time or driving in bumper to bumper traffic every morning. Stress always just seems to be there no matter how hard you try to manage it.
But to manage your stress, you don’t have to practice breathing techniques or meditation. It can be as easy as adding the right stress busting ingredients to your lifestyle.
Most people eat more when stressed. But, stress shouldn’t be the reason you don’t lose weight – or the reason you put on weight.
Since, I am doing my very best to live a stress free life, I thought I would share some information on the 3 stages of stress. The more aware we are of our coping mechanisms, and our stress levels, them more we are able to keep calm, and keep our stress under control.
