1: Make your own natural hand sanitizer
I always have hand sanitizer in my handbag. It’s offers convenient, on-the-go protection. However, you have to be careful when using store bought sanitizers because of all the added stuff. That’s why I make my own. All you have to do is mix three tablespoons of grain alcohol, one tablespoon of aloe vera gel with 10 drops of lavender oil in a leak-proof bottle. You can liberally use this sanitizer throughout the day to fend off germs.
2. Apply the lavender oil directly
Just place a few drops of essential lavender oil directly onto your skin a couple of times per day. This will help prepare your immune system to tackle those flu viruses and pesky cold bugs.
3. Make your own antiseptic soap
When you frequently wash your hands using a germicidal soap, you’ll surely stay germ-free! Simply combine 20 drops of lavender oil with 250 ml liquid soap in a mixing bottle. Vigorously shake the bottle to ensure that all the ingredients combine. Use as often as you please.
4: Make a disinfectant spray
Disinfectant spray made from lavender oil helps keep the environment free of breeding pathogens. All you have to do is fill with two cups of water in a medium spray bottle and add 40 drops of lavender oil to it. You can use it by generously spraying handles, knobs, countertops and any other high traffic surfaces. Just remember to shake the bottle well before each use.
